Description

The eighth wonder, Karakoram Highway, is the highest paved road in the world. The cycling will start from Gilgit, which is located on KKH at the altitude of 1500m. Along the way, people can see the majestic high mountains including Rakaposhi, Tupopdan (Passu Cones), Lady Finger and the traditional city of Hunza. The riders will come across the beautiful turquoise Attabad Lake and will climb to 4693m at the end at Khunjerab Pass which connects Pakistan with China. The natural beauty of the landscape; Karakoram mountain range, Hunza River and lush green apricot and cherry gardens is breath-taking.
